What a Lovely Tribute to a Lovely Woman!!!

Tinky Weisblat is an experienced writer. Mostly her writing style in Pulling Taffy is lighthearted and charming, but occasionally Weisblat unveils a deeper insight of events and emotions that complements her otherwise upbeat but honest style. I especially connected with her heartfelt frustrations, concerns, fears and sadness recognizing and accepting the inevitable: her mother’s passing from Alzheimer’s.

Pulling Taffy pulls laughter out of sorrow, Tinky reveals day-to-day trials and joys of living and coping with an elderly mother struggling with dementia/alzheimer's through the last year of her life. She reveals what coping mechanisms she used for better or worse for other caregivers to take or leave.
