Ari thought being in love with her prophesied nemesis sucked. But being responsible for her best friend's kidnapping? It sucks worse.

Ari and Shane thought they’d beaten Fate and ended the three-hundred year war plagu-ing their people. They thought love had won. But they were so, so wrong.

Instead of graduating high school like the normals, they’re in a battle to save Charit

Recommends it for: everyone!

Because of how much I loved Feudlings, I had very high expectations for Feudlings in Flames. And they were surpassed! Wendy Knight really outdid herself on this book. I loved the drama that came up between Ari and Shane...a perfect relationship isn't entertaining (sad as that sounds). I also loved guessing through the entire book, trying to figure out who Tristan was. By the almost end of the book, I was sure I knew exactly who he was...and who he actually turned out to be was a complete surpris ...more

Enjoyed this thoroughly!!! Read Feudlings and this one back to back and they were both very entertaining reads. It took me much longer than normal to finish the two books (especially the second one) and these are books that you will enjoy more if you were to read them without a lot of gaps. That's bad for any book because it breaks the flow of the story and the narrative but still, I hung on and thankfully, I managed to finish them and liked every minute of it.

fast paced, action packed and full of heart--loved the conclusion to the series!

Holy crap!! I need a moment to wipe the stupid grin off my face after that HEA. Wow. For a book less than 300 hundred pages long(ipad), this one really packed a punch! WHAT A GREAT SEQUEL! Excellent pacing, awesome depth, fantastic characters. My first reaction when I finished? Oh no its over!

This one was all about getting Charity rescued. With lots of fighting and battle scenes I was never bored even though she wasn't rescued towards the 80% mark.

This one was told in Ari, Shane and Charity's P

When I bought Feudlings I was happy with a surprisingly great find and was way excited for the next book. For me it didn't disappoint. I think Ari is great and I like the idea of how strong everyone is together. Like even though Ari is super powerful and super kick butt she is so much more with Shane and Hunter and Will and Charity.

Wow I loved the first book so much I didn't think it could get any better! Loved getting more of the back story. What's best though is that this book gives you everything from drama to mystery to action to romance and I am so sad I finished it already! Wendy Knight is amazing!

This book kept me distracted from my school work..... I loved the twist at the end!!!!! It made me very happy! there were a few spots in the book where i nearly threw my nook across the room i was so mad at it. I loved it so musch! Wendy did a great job!!!

Ari, Shane, Hunter and Will are back again in Feudlings in Flames, casting deadly spells and searching desperately for Charity. Sometimes a sequel isn't as good as the first book and just can't live up to the expectations set by Book 1. I am happy to say that isn't the case here! Book 2 is just as awesome as Book 1. After reading this book, I am really looking forward to reading the two Prequels that are planned next for the series. I don't usually like reading or watching prequels...I struggled ...more

This is book 2 in the ‘Fate on Fire’ series.
The war continues on, and now Charity has been kidnapped.
Can Ari save Charity? Can she maintain her relationship with Shane? And can she win the war?

I didn’t like the first book in this series, but I’ve had some luck with sequels being better than the first book recently, so I decided to give this a go. Unfortunately, I didn’t like this either though.

I had problems with Ari in this book. She had let the whole ‘Edren

They thought the war was over, but find out another had just begun. In this heart pounding sequel Wendy Knight gives the fans a book that will have the gasping at the end.

I loved this book better than the first one, but only because this one blew me out of the water even more than the last! It was none stop fighting, and spells until the very last page. If you were bored at all during this book than we have a serious prob

I have to preface this by saying I had already read 60% of this book when Wendy and I used to be in a critique group together. I read this 60% before ever reading Feudlings. Word to the wise: this is not one of those series where the books should be read out of order. Because I had already read so much of it, I didn't exactly have "fresh eyes" on this version of the story since I had read a previous draft. That being said, I liked Feudlings in Flames the first time around, but now--having read F ...more

I really wanted to like this book more than I actually did. I think Knight has a great writing style: clear, interesting, good action sequences. But for some reason, I'm not connecting to this series. The first one bothered me because it was quite violent and the main character seemed indifferent to the violence (that is, she was powerful enough to casually kill lots of people when the occasion demanded--as it frequently did, since she had been raised as a weapon for her people). At least, until ...more

this was an amazing book. it had everything everyone wanted.
but...
it's missing something, maybe it was the fact that Cristian tried to kiss Air because he had a thing for her mom that got me.
but the biggest thing that I disliked was the extremely anti climactic ending. Mis.Knight set Us up for a HUGE battle and she gives us a HUGE battle ... and then tags on another two months via four extra chapters. and while I'll be the first in line any day to admit that it was necessary to do it so as not

Powerful sequel. It brings the reader deeper into the world of the feudlings, telling us why on so many things. And then opening up new questions, hopes, pain. I worried with a sequel that it would not hold onto the power of book one, which took me for an unforgettable ride, but it did such a good job, I bought all the novellas, and marked the release date for the next book.

This was a good series. We fall in love with Ari, Will, Shane, Hunter, Charity, Nev, and Livi. Loved following them through the chaos of their lives. This was a very different take on magic and sorcery loved it. Ari is a strong girl with a tender heart even though she thought she was a monster all she really searched for was a normal life. Love and friendship taught her she was not such a monster after all. Loved the way both books keep it exciting with twists and turns, some I never saw coming ...more

The twists in this story are amazing. Having it all unfold and realizing what has been going on this entire time is truly hypnotic. Wendy Knight draws you into the story and holds you there. There were times when tears were in my eyes. I do not want to give anything from the book away but this is definitely one that I will be purchasing in paperback to have in my home library.

Ok, first off I have to say I really love this series and this is just my opinion. Having already read the other books in the series I would have preferred to have the story have more content- to where he's met the other prodigy, who betrays him and how it's resolved- I would have loved to have read those scenes from his point of view.

We do get to see how hard it is for Will not to fight and be from Ari and if you've read the other books then you know she'd be lost without him, he saves her but

It was interesting how the book ended. I would have liked her to have spoken to Christen at the end of the book. Or for him to explain it to her, but other than that it was good.

The one was even better than the first book. It was very fast-paced and compelling. It even had me wishing I knew how to throw some spells. :) I enjoyed how the scenes with Ari, Shane, and Hunter were intermingled with scenes from Charity. I especially liked the growth of Charity's character from the first book to this one. The twist with Tristan didn't come as a huge surprise to me, but it was still a great plot point. I was, however, very surprised about Ari's mom, so kudos to Knight on that o ...more

I'm a fan of this series, and I've been looking to having the time to read this second book. I wasn't disappointed. You KNOW there's something going on with Tristan, and the story has an interesting twist at the end. I didn't see it coming.

I'm not a fan of love triangles, so I wasn't sure what to think when I heard there was one in FiF. There was no need to worry. I missed seeing more of their old school friends, but I understand the need to find resolution while keeping their normal friends saf

Wow. Just wow. I laughed, I cried, I wanted to throw my ipad across the room. Then I thought better not because I had to see what happened next. It starts off a little slow but once the story gets rolling, there's no stopping it.
Charity has been kidnapped and the war is still going on, although the dynamic of who is fighting whom has changed. It's no longer Carules vs. Edren, but Loyals (loyal to the war) vs. Everyone else who wants the war to end. Will the prophecy be fulfilled? Can they rescue

I think I may have enjoyed this second installment a little bit more than the first. Don't get me wrong, I was glad for Ari in the first book as she went to school in Park City and made really wonderful friends (and fell in love:), but there was just so much action and so many twists and turns in this second book. I love it when an author surprises me. I also really enjoyed Wendy "humanizing" Ari a bit. There were some really fun LOL moments for me which may or may not have involved bunny slippe ...more

I didn't like this as much as the first but it was still fun to read.

I liked this one every bit as much as the first. It actually reminds me a bit of Twilight...without the lameness! haha

Started out very slow but once we got passed all the build up it turned out to be an alright book. I do have to say that given how slow the build up was the ending felt very rushed, like by that point the author just didn't care anymore and needed to be done with it. That suited me just fine because by that point in the book I was done and didn't care anymore.

She also enjoys chasing her three adorable kids, playing tennis, watching football, reading, and hiking. Camping is also big ...more
