Un air de familles is a beautifully illustrated children's book that tries to dismantle traditional preconceptions of the family. In this "little book of big differences", Boutignon uses soft pastels to introduce all sorts of animals and family types: the adopted marmot in a family of racoons, a single polar bear mother, father ostrich with his new boyfriend, mother crane who comes from another country.
