The wild before the storm
Travis Wilde doesn't do love or commitment--but he'd never turn down a willing woman and a king-size bed. Normally innocence like Jennie Cooper's would have the same effect as a cold shower, yet her determination and mouth-watering curves have him burning up all over!

I really wanted to like/love this, but I felt it was more than a little paint by the numbers.

Travis, the hero is pouting in a redneck bar in Texas because his brothers have better things to: as in their wives. No, not like that; it's worse: one brother is going to Lamaze class and the other is meeting with a decorator. The bro code broke. A 40DD chick sidles up to Travis, and he insults the rep of the bar because he does not want to partake of her Aquanet goodness so the rednecks want to beat h
I have never been so moved by a Harlequin as I was, reading this book. The hero at first seemed cold and just another womanizer. He doesn't do relationships, only one night stands. That is until he meets Jennie a sweet, intelligent young teacher.

Travis was a war pilot and his traumas have left him unemotional and reckless. Jennie on the other hand has lived a very sheltered life but due to her fatal disease she wants to live life to the fullest. This book reminded me the devastation that a dise

Who would have though I'd randomly read a book so close to home?

Yes, this book was formulaic, a typical Marton, hero kisses heroine forcefully, calls her bad names, can't help thinking of her, saves her, they keep falling into bed, live in a bubble of their own, until real life intervenes. Of course there is a cure for an incurable problem and voila HEA.

In the third instalment of the Wilde series the author completely stunned me as reader. I was completely mesmerized by the character of Travis Wilde. Sexy and definitely merciless, he captured my imagination and blew me away, but he also showed so much tenderness and compassion towards the heroine Jennie, it brought me to tears to read how a man could love a woman so much.

Travis was portrayed to me as the ruthless and arrogant man we love to hate in the start due to some underlining Post Traumat

This is one of the most moving stories I read lately.
Jennie has a tumor in the brain. She decides to try all the things she hadn't been able to do before because of her overprotective parents. First of all, she wants to try sex. That's why she dresses up and goes to a bar where she meets Travis. Their first encounter is fun to read. Their whole relationship is so sweet. But when she knows she is dying, she decides to leave to spare Travis any suffering.
Travis Wilde is one hell of a hero
A nice, warm, touchy freely read. Got treacly towards the end but I guess it would have been tough to avoid. One or 2 good conflict scenes, especially the initial "hook-up" when hero Travis realizes that he's been used (never mind how wack such self-righteousness is when he was planning a hook-up the exact same way). I was crying when I was reading the last few pages , you made me write this :-love is powerful and love is divine it can do anything. There is a reason why Sandra Marton is one of the most Beloved Harlequin Authors Ever. I have been a fan for many years and she never disappoints. This Wilde Brothers Story for me was the most emotional, especially the last three chapters. You know you have a good book when you refuse to go to bed regardless of the hour, until you find out what is going to happen. I can honestly say I felt my heart in my throat, and felt tears running down my face. Travis & Jennie's story was Amazing!

I cannot tell you how I loved loved loved this book!!! First I want to tell you that this whole Wilde Brothers series of Sandra Marton's is absolutely phenomenal!! As you read each of the books, you learn so much about the Wilde family which includes brothers, sisters, father, and sister-in-laws. The love between the three Wilde brothers, Travis, Caleb and Jake is amazing. They are so protective of each other and so supportive. It is hilarious to watch each of them fall into love and out of bein ...more

Recommends it for: everyone
This is the 4th book in the Wilde series and Sandra Marton did it again, she took me on a wild ride of emotions. The Wilde brothers have had a Friday night ritual forever, whenever they are in the same place they get together on Friday night for drinks, food and talk. Jennie is ill and she wants to experience new things she has never been with a man and wants to have sex. This Friday night should be the same but Jake and Caleb (both of whom have recently gotten married) can't make it so, Travis ...more

It was absolutely fantastic to be back with the Wilde Brothers.

If you can put a name on that feeling you get when you think the new release can’t possibly be any better than the previous book – but it is – that’s how I felt powering thru Travis’s story. I’m actually quite sad to have come to, potentially, the end of the Wilde Family Saga… potentially…

I love reading an opening chapter that reaches out the pages and grabs you around the collar demanding to be read, as The Merciless Travis Wilde di
Sort of a different HP. The hero was head over heels pretty quickly. They got together quickly. The conflict came from outside and was resolved rather easily. Still it was worth reading for the differentness of it all. Took place in Texas.

The Merciless Travis Wilde by Sandra Marton is a sexy, merciless and fabulous ending to the Wilde Brothers trilogy.

Travis Wilde doesn’t do love or commitment but after his two brothers get married he finds himself alone. There is no more Friday tradition of brothers time and now he finds himself in a bar in downtown by himself with a very unsavory crowd.

Jennie Cooper is trying to do everything she can on her to-do list before her time runs out. One thing on that list is having sex and the place

What a wonderful way to end the boys stories and leave us hanging for the girls! Travis is confused and alone, his brothers have found happiness and he is jealous, though he would never admit it. Poor Jennie has lived an extremely sheltered life and wants to take some risks. One night a decision out of the ordinary for both of them brings them together and luckily one more chance after that. Once together, they are inseparable, and then get your tissues out. Their love brings them through the to ...more

I gave this book 4 stars because it made me shed a few tears. The relationships in this book were realistic and heartfelt, which made it made it extremely easy for me to fall in love with each characters. I was really surprised that I ended up liking it. It was a little slow at first but once it got going.... wow!

It's about Travis Wilde who is not looking for a relationship. He's happy being single and thinks his brothers are crazy for being married. That's until he meets Jennie. After the first
No way! This can`t be The Wilde Brothers #3
Probably due to my great expectations this book failed to deliver what I got from first two! I loved previous Wilde brothers and felt more for them than for Travis, his attitude is not that merciless-so he could beat few guys at a bar-ah,I was expecting more psycho-freaky-icy-could-but-don`t-care effect and got some guy who deflowers his first virgin and gets enthralled, they were both meek. Beginning and ending were OK I guess, but there`s nothing in be

very emotionally moving... I bawled my eyes out during the last few chapters.. but don't worry it's a happy ending.. I loved Travis enduring love for Jenny... he doesn't give up on her even when she gives up on herself.. and he has wonderful supporting brothers and family... as it says in the book. ..Love us the only constant in life

The story idea was good, and I wanted to like it more, but I had a hard time with the writing style, all those short, choppy sentences were hard to follow and rather irritating, honestly. DNF. Totally my own preferences, though, and I would recommend that someone try this if the story sounded good to them.

Pretty good and something for a lighter 'just to read' kinda book. I liked the characters and their personalities. This was interesting and kept me reading (although not completely compulsory). Good for an anytime read and for passing the time. Enjoy

I've been a writer, one way or another, all my life. Before I could read, I made up poems and my mom wrote them down for me. In elementary school, my teachers almost always let me write poems or stories instead of requiring me to do art projects. Always, I dreamed of becoming a published writer...and that dream came true! I write novels about sexy, powerful men and independent-minded women, and wh
