Melissa is from a pretty well off family who lives on Fear Street. She's more wealthy than most the kids at her school and for the most part enjoys that life other than the occasional teasing about how wealthy her family is. At the time of Melissa's birthday weird things start to happen. She feels a presence grab the steering wheel of her car and pull it off the road, the presents at her birthday party are unwrapped by themselves and thrown all over the place, and a ghost begins to show up in he...more

Gila, gue baca ini udah lama banget. Bukunya sendiri udah entah kemana. Tapi gue inget gue suka banget sama ini novel.

Awalnya serem pastinyaaa... tentang seorang cewek bernama Melissa yang dihantui sama hantu cowok yang bilang kalo dia udah ngebunuh si hantu padahal Melissa kenal aja nggak sama sosok si hantu!! Lalu dia bertemu dengan wujud orang si hantu. Masih hidup, yep, masih hidup. Tapi si hantu tetep aja ngeganggu dia. Lha jadi hantu itu, hantu siapa??

Pas beli novel ini, gue gak expect sam...more

Wow! I didn't know R.L.Stine could write so... sentimentally. lol. His books always spook me out and are kinda kiddish. The plots aren't SO awesome. But I gotta say, this book left me flabbergasted. First, the plot is real cool - ghost-from-the-future. Secondly, the ghost himself is a beautiful character, coming to the past and killing himself to save Melissa. wow, just wow. I love this book. The best R.L.Stine has written yet!!

Not a classic Fear Street, no real atmosphere or enveloping setting. Worth a read if you got a couple of hours to spare, but don't go out your way

This Fear Street book actually got my attention. (view spoiler)[I liked the idea that Melissa somehow killed Paul. Then we learn that Paul is alive somehow. Mysteries! (hide spoiler)] It kept me wondering what would happen next. The only decent character (besides the dad) is the main character Melissa and it takes a while to warm up to her. I have to admit I am not entirely happy with the explanation at the end. It seems very paradoxical and it's never elaborated on. Overall, I have to say it's...more

This book is a very easy read; definitely under my reading level. This book is one of many in the Fear Street series. The book was not interesting to me because of the lack of difficulty. This may seem more frightening or interesting to a person who reads at or below the level of the book. The plot to the story is interesting, but i think that R.L Stine could find more areas for diction and detail.
