Shuki is older (40s) and yet remains irresistible. Several plot points bothered me, so I didn't love this installment as much, but I did still enjoy it.

Another enjoyable book by a remarkable author. Not quite up to the standard of the first two books in the series - and readers really need to read ''Not a Man'' and "The King's Favourite'' first to appreciate this story.

I struggled to keep track of the large number of characters and found the story rather slow in parts. Nevertheless an enjoyable read.

I enjoyed the reading of this a lot. It was sheer pleasure to spend more time learning about Shuki's life in Australia with Zahu. I just wish it hadn't gone quite so far into the future.
