This was a really wonderful romance. Although it can be seen as a teenage book, actually it's a great story for any true romantic of any age.

Carrie has known Daniel since they were kids. Now, at sixteen, she knows that she loves him but has no idea how he feels about her. She gets a great opportunity to be a dancer with a new boy band and he wins a scholarship for the States. Carrie is devastated that he will be leaving her for three years. She wants to tell him how she feels, but before she ca

"Silent Treatment" by Jackie Williams is a very enjoyable classic teenage romance.
Carrie pursues a career in dancing while her new flame Daniel goes to the US on a football scholarship. Will their love stand the test of time?
I am not one for very girlie teenage literature but this book has done a great job at keeping me interested and making the characters likeable and believable. With some unexpected depth and great plotting this is a rather entertaining and rewarding read.

I loved this book!

It's a really sweet romance with two characters who really seem to love one another, but take responsibility with their lives and their futures during that tempestuous period of time at the end of highschool.

Lots of witty banter and some very fun scenes too. The father figure was exactly like my own. A right idiot!

I don't often write reviews, and I don't like writing negative reviews but this book was terrible. I have read 81 books in the past 6 months and this would have to be the worst. I do rely on people's reviews when I chose a book and I think the only thing I agreed on from past reviews for this book was that it was a quick read!

The book is about teenagers, but they speak to each other like they are 65!!! It is all SO far fetched that it often made me laugh out loud at how ridiculous it was! I thi

I was born in Essex England during the mid sixties but I missed all the fun. Being only young I assumed that all Beatles were six legged creatures and Flower Power was something to do with the vigorous way my mother kneaded the bread dough.

My wonderful parents brought me up with a huge love of books. We read anything and everything. Bedtime stories were a treasured time of adventure and mystery. M
