The rhyming and repetitive language usage in this book would be really good for preschool children. Lily won't stop crying and all it took was a spook from her brother to make her laugh. This book is a good model of siblings helping each other out. I didn't enjoy the illustrations in this book. The brother in this book looks like a sister more than anything. It seems like the illustrations were made just to get it done and over with.

Cute premise. Nice repetition for young children.

However, the illustrations are not for everyone, and since they are low-contrast, not particularly attractive to the aforementioned young children.
Lily won't stop crying-- even with Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle doing everything that they can think of to distract her. Good thing that Brother is there to save the day. The rhythmic and repetitive text make this a charming read-aloud for preschoolers.

sweet tale of baby who everyone tries to make stop crying using different methods until baby brother calms her just by being himself.

A story about a baby that won't stop crying and all that was done to try to stop it. There was one person who could...her brother!

I loved this book. I thought it had a really cute message about siblings helping one another. It's a great lesson for families.

I have always been a storyteller. Even before I could write my name, I could tell a good tale. And I told them all the time. As a preschooler, I told my neighbors all about my three-legged cat named Spot. In kindergarten, I told my classmates about the ghost that lived in my attic. And in first grade I told my teacher, Miss Harbart, all about my family's trip to Paris, France.

I told such a good st
