Filled with large photographs of these unusual canines, this book provides good basic information about fennec foxes. Found only in the upper portion of the African continent, they are characterized by large ears to help them cool off in their desert habitat. Additionally, fur on their feet protects them from the hot desert sand. Readers will enjoy reading about these unique animals and learning about their families, food, and habitat as well as how they form communities. They will probably be ...more
