I can only vouch for the UKCAT section as I didn't sit the BMAT.

The questions are easier than the actual UKCAT, or questions from other books, so it wasn't very realistic. But I suppose it's a nice introduction to build up to harder questions in the exam later. It definitely builds confidence (which you will lose later), but be wary and keep in mind that in the real exam, the questions will be harder so adjust your time restraints accordingly.
