While some of the essays are a thinly veiled excuse to talk philosophy while having little to no meaningful connection to the show, there are at least a handful of essays that make it all worthwhile, especially those that really try to explain why the show is so popular - it all comes down to the stories of redemption that resonate with viewers. This book was informative and interesting if you like Lost and the little easter eggs the writers give us. This book reminded me of why I love lost so much; the writing is brilliant.
