A solid edition to this series. I'm reading these all out of order (though I wish I wasn't!), but I can still follow the series story lines and still appreciate the history lessons that come with them. While this wasn't my favorite in the series, I did enjoy it and I think it was well written and kids around middle school would like this book. It's got humor and adventure and I think it would be good for both boys and girls. I would recommend this book (and series). 5 out of 5 stars.
