Wasn't how I thought it would be. I felt that any arguments they had weren't fully resolved and just brushed off. Alot didn't even really make sense and was all over the place. Any jealousy Cass had with chicks being all over Tucker was also brushed off and he didn't seem to care. She was a coward when it came to their new manager Donna and should've told Tucker the things she was saying, as much as she done well and not let them get to her, I wanted Donna to pay for the things she said. It just...more

My 2 star rating has more to do with content/storyline and character traits than it does the actual writing style. I felt that the storyline was very cliche and at times a bit whiney. I also feel like both Cass & Tucker lost their balls in this one compared to the first. Where Cass was strong and self-sufficient in book #1, she felt weak and extremely naive in book #2. Tucker was such a pushover and let others dictate his actions.

There was constant bickering between the characters throughout...more

Again, mixed feelings about this book. The story continues where it left off. This time Cass is going with Tucker on his tour. Living in a tour bus with his three bandmates, some groupies, and thousands of screaming fans and to top it all, there's the new bitchy manager, Donna.

There is so much emotions going on in this book... Cass wanting to fit in, doesn't want to cause friction with the band members, her insecurities... Tucker wanting to protect Cass, his afraid she will run off and leave hi...more

Since this book is releasing today, I won't leave any spoilers, but I will say that when I finished this book I wanted to race into the next book to keep the feeling going. I cannot wait for White Trash Love Song to come out.

This is book 2 of the White Trash Trilogy and the story of Cass and Tucker's reunion. Cass is now back with Tucker and learning to live on the tour bus with him, his band, and a woman who makes it clear she doesn't want her around. As Cass struggles to heal her internal wou...more

I loved Cass and Tucker in White Trash Beautiful so I was super excited for this book! However, I am disappointed. I kept waiting and waiting. I'm actually still waiting. I figured there would be growth in Cass and Tucker's relationship but I didn't even feel like there was a relationship. At all. I didn't feel the chemistry between them. All there was was jealousy. I felt more connected to Eric than I did anyone else.

Tucker... I really don't know what to make of Tuck in this book. I feel like h...more

This was a great story! The heroine had a tendency to be VERY insecure which made me crazy sometimes but Tucker...ahhhhh Tucker....he made it all worth it!!!

I must say I love this series and can't wait for love song. I felt the torn feelings of Cass and Tucker as an observer of their tragic love story. I cried with Cass, hung my head with Tucker and fell in love with Eric and want to hit Sarah to wake her up. It is a must read!!!! Don't pass the opportunity to read this really, you will love it.

More than a 5 star book! This book was very much worth the wait b/c I absolutely loved it!!! Cass and Tucker are amazing and every emotion on this roller coaster of a book was worth reading! I cannot wait to read Eric's story in White Trash Love Song.

After white trash beautiful it was safe to say I was really looking forward to White Trash damaged – I patiently pre ordered it as soon as I was able and waited on tenterhooks until I Received it and I really, really hate to say it but I was disappointed.

I love Teresa Mummert as an author she has an amount of talent for writing that most people could only dream of but I just don’t feel like this was her best work! This isn’t me being picky or over expectant it is just the simple fact that the se...more

White Trash Damaged is the 2nd book in the White Trash series. (White Trash Beautiful is # 1)
Continuing the story from White Trash Beautiful this book is about the struggle of love and relationships. Being in a relationship with a singer of an up and coming band while living on a tour bus with all the band members is a hard thing to do when the other band members think you are another groupie. Cass is determined to make it work with Tucker but not if it will cause the band to have issues. She ev...more

White Trash Damaged is Mummert’s second book focusing on Cass, a woman used to being beaten down but who still hopes for more out of life than what she’s been given. After losing a baby in book one she felt lost and subsequently pulled away from the one person in her life who treated her like a human and not a means to an end, her rocker boyfriend Tucker. Now back together she’s going on the road with him and his rising band, Damaged, which presents them with a host of all new problems. Cass’s n...more

How do you go from the trailer park to being a rock star's girlfriend.

It's a hard transition to make for all involved. Life on the road is not all its cracked up to be. There is a lot of hardship and external troubles for these two.

But for Tucker he would give up everything for Cass if only she would believe in them.

Cass the forever martyr is torn for what is right for them as a couple and for Tucker and his band.

Love against all odds is a beautiful thing. I did like this book but not as much a...more

I had just re-read White Trash Beautiful the week prior to being able to sit down with Cass and Tucker in the continuation of their love story. I have to say I was really disappointed and wanted a lot more from this book.

Cass is launched almost right out of the trailer park and into a Rock Stars life style. She's already run from Tucker once thinking he was better without her and her baggage... However he wasn't taking no for an answer when he whisked her away into this grueling travel schedule...more

I thought this book would blow my mind to pieces but it didn't unfortunately. The first book was about 10 times better than this one and I think it was mainly because there was spontaneous scenes and different settings. This book was the same drama over and over again with the same scenes over and over again. I liked the concept but the information wasn't good enough. The book was able to keep me entertained and I will get the next book to know how Cass and Tuckers story ends but this feels like...more

during this whole book all I wanted was for Cass to grow a pair of balls and to get the "thats what she said" joke right. By the end of the book, I guess she grew a pair in her on way (jury is out about the joke). i felt during the whole book she was still stuck as her old self, doubting and questioning everything. There were moments when it got to be TOO much. Like seriously hunny, your here with him. He's willing to give everything up for you, everybody can see he's madly in love.FOR THE LOVE...more

I couldn't wait to read this after finishing White Trash Beautiful. I really loved Tucker and Cass, and was looking forward to seeing what was next for these two. Unfortunately, this book left me with a lot of mixed feelings and wasn't at all like I had been expecting. If you haven't read White Trash Beautiful, you are going to need to read that first before reading this since Tucker and Cass's story continues with this book.

Tucker and Cass are together after everything that has happened, and t...more

So i was really hoping for a better turn out for this book. But the back and forth continues. I was really pulling for this book, really wanted more from it, and for some reason I felt like it fell short. I don't feel like Cass grew as much as she needed to in this book. She still remained completely dependent and in Tucker's shadow- she never stepped out. Any time she did, that was taken away from her. I felt like there should have been something that was Cass'. Yes, she was a great song writer...more

Teresa Mummert's books are my guilty pleasure. Just like those B-movies I'd slip downstairs in the middle of the night to watch on TV. I loved Cass' character growth in this book, it was seeing the proverbial phoenix rise from the ashes. For instance the manner in which she brings round Tucker's bandmates. More than Cass and Tucker, I think I loved Cass and Sarah, as she finally finds someone to be 'girly' with. I actually awwed, when I read about their antics, it was like seeing someo...more

I’ve always loved everything Teresa has published. I’m not very bright so every now and then I get a bit confused but she always sets me straight. :)

White Trash Beautiful was the first book of Teresa’s that I read and I absolutely fell in love with her work. She truly knows how to pull your emotions from you and White Trash Damaged was no different.

Cass and Tucker have such an amazing love for each other. I love these two because they know how to play each other and love each other.

I was a Russian spy at the ripe age of thirteen, given my uncanny ability to tell if someone was lying ( I also read fortunes on the weekends). By sixteen I had become too much of a handful for the Lethal Intelligence Ensemble (L.I.E.). I was quickly exiled to the south of France where I worked with wayward elephants in the Circus of Roaming Animals and People (C.R.A.P.)....more
