CONVENIENTLY HIS PRINCESS is by author Olivia Gates for the Harlequin Desire series releasing in September 2013.

This warm and winsome romance is really the journey of two people who never expected to be linked in any way but who both found friendship to be deeply satisfying. It is not about a king, but rather about a wealthy financier who has lived in the United States for years but longs to make his Middle Eastern country his permanent home. Yet he has no citizenship there, and his best friend, the ruler of his country, wants him as his minister of finance. Marrying a princess of that nation would "greas ...more

Molto, molto bello.

Aram missed the country he considered ‘home’ and would love to go back. He also wanted to help his sister and brother-in-law (who was also his friend – We read their story in the first story of the Pride of Zohayd trilogy – To Tame a Sheikh) but in order to do so he would have to become a royal and a citizen of the country. Shaheen (friend/brother-in-law) suggests a marriage with Princess Kanza who Aram knew many years ago when she was a teenager and knew her as ‘Kanza the Monster’. Aram maintai ...more

Okay read,I usu like this author's books. The best way for me to describe her writing is lyrical. But this book had a huge OTT moment when towards the end at the marriage ceremony, the hero goes all " bollywood" and starts singing to the heroine complete with mic,and colorfull dressed dancers in native dress with spotlight included.Felt like I was watching an Indian movie where the characters break out in song and dance at any given moment.

This was a absolutely amazing read from the brilliant author Olivia Gates. A story betrayal, secrets and ambition. I adored the main characters and found myself completely fascinated with the author's manner of building both characters as individuals in such a manner that both seemed to be in a world of their own yet at the same time already together.

The sexual heat and intense tension left me in awe of the author's writing and the very real emotion she packs into her characters. The flow of thi

Aram wants to go back to the country he considers home, but if he wants to stay he has to become a citizen. The best way is to marry someone from the country, it was suggested to him that he should marry Princess Kanza. Aram is absolutely against this option, he remembers her as ‘Kanza the Monster’.

The storyline was interesting, the sexual tension and chemistry kept the book flowing nicely. Olivia Gates did not disappoint in this book.

Olivia Gates is my go to author for over the top, larger than life, gorgeous sheikh's. These fabulous men are every woman's dream but when they meet THE woman, the rest of them might as well hang up their stiletto heels and lipsticks.

These guys fall so hard for their woman it probably gets mistaken for an earthquake somewhere in the Mediterranean.

Aram is forty and has given up all hope of making a connection. His sister and her husband, Aram's best friend, are worried he's falling into depressi

I enjoyed this one. I knew it would be good and wasn't disappointed. The witty banter between the hero and the heroine was too cute. Very entertaining.

P.S. I loved the book cover. Most of her books have fabulous cover.

When it comes to the Desire line, you usually can't go wrong with one of Olivia Gates' books. She is one of the lines best writers, and she really writes great male characters from the middle east. Aram isn't a sheikh but he is a wealthy gorgeous man.

The problem with this book is that the characters aren't very convincing. Aram and Kanza knew each other previously. Aram dated her step sister and when that relationship went south, Kanza held a grudge.

Thanks to his sister and his best friend (who

I have been a big fan of Olivia Gates for a while now. And I loved her First book in the series titled To Tame A Sheikh. And figured this one would be just as good if not better. But I have to admit I was somewhat disappointed. There were parts of this book that were really good, other parts not so much.

Aram Nazaryan has always considered Zohayd home. But after being slandered by Maysoon his ex fiancé he left the country he had grown to love. Ten years later Aram is being offered the chance to r

My favorite author did it again. I can always depend on Olivia Gates to entertain me. Passion laughter and plots abundantly. Im never bored. I was promised a new hero and he was delivered wrapped in gold. I was hooked to the last drop. Wanting for more. The thing I like with this author she writes with so much passion and no two hero's are the same. Thank you.

definitely a WOW.
i'll quote this one:
"why didn't your love find me earlier, my love?"
yes, my only complain's just why oh why our Aram didn't find Kanza sooner.

I've been a big fan of Olivia Gates for a long time now - I've found that she's one of the relatively few authors who have a real talent for combining scorching passion with intense emotion and drama. That said, her two or three books prior to this were not among my favorites of hers: something about them just left me cold, so my expectations were not super-high when I got my hands on a copy of this book.

I have to say, I've read others' reviews of this one and I can see the issues they had with

I really enjoyed this book! Aram and Kanza are a great couple with amazing chemistry! Aram is presented with the opportunity to return to Zohayd in a high level position, as long as he marries into the royal family. Aram balks at the requirement, and the set-up, but then he meets Kanza again. Kanza is an independent, intelligent, and strong woman. She is used to being overlooked and believes herself to be unattractive. Aram is a strong, sexy, alpha male who craves a home and family. I love how K ...more

This is the second book of the serie MARRIED BY ROYAL DECREE. It's my second favorite book of the serie after the last one Seducing His Princess
What I liked the most about this book is the interaction between the main characters, the dates, dialogues, the way they started to fall in love. Kanza (the heroine) is hilarious! she made me laugh during the reading. Aram is a gentleman!
I found the book entertaining, relaxed, funny without no "MAJOR PROBLEM" like other romance books. From time to time I

When a rich and powerful man is ordered to wed, his response is an emphatic “no”. If he marries, it will be done on his terms and not because he was instructed. In the second book of the Married by Royal Decree series, the hero feels there is no way he could be attracted to the woman who is suggested as a bride for him. Yet when he is reunited with her after many years apart, he quickly learns time can drastically transform someone. CONVENIENTLY HIS PRINCESS by the talented Olivia Gates is a com ...more

Pretty good book. Aram is a high-powered financial wiz. His best friend and brother-in-law is Minister of Finance of Zohayd but would like Aram to take that job. In order to do so he would have to be a citizen and the best way to achieve that is through marriage. Shaheen suggests Kanza, but Aram wants nothing to do with her. He remembers her as a teenager, with obnoxious behavior and even more obnoxious fashion taste. When Shaheen and his wife, who is also Aram's sister, throw them together, Ara ...more

This book is about finding that one person who truly completes you. Conveniently His Princess is the second book in Olivia Gates’ Married by Royal Decree series. Aram Nazaryan is asked to take over the role of Minister of Economic in the desert kingdom. The only thing stopping him is the need to marry a princess of Zohayd. It is suggested that he marry Princess Kanza Aal Ajmaan. He couldn’t believe his friends suggestion as he remembers her in a totally different light. Over time, their relationship develops. Of course, there is drama surrounding their marriage ...more

I think these romances with middle eastern heroes aren’t going to be for everyone – the men tend to have very specific ideas and are more dominant than some romances – but they are very popular with some. Personally, I liked it, so if you are into this kind of thing this is definitely a good choice. It is part of a series, so there are returning characters, but they play a small enough role that you can read this one as a stand alone novel.

And being a Harlequin Desire book, some of the prose ten

This novel was a bit too much for me. The characters evidently knew each other, and the some readers would know them from a previous book. I did not read the previous book, perhaps that back story would have made the lead couple more compelling for me. The book was very sweet, the love story very predictable, and the lead couple lacked a bit of chemistry for me. I was looking for some angst, some problem for them, but it was a pretty smooth trip to happily ever after. There wasn't much in the wa ...more

Amar had a preconceived idea of the type of person Kanza was based off of an ex fiancée's opinion of her half sister. Kanza also had a preconceived notion of Aram, other than his disgusting good looks. Together they learn that they should base their own opinions on first person facts only. Aram also learned that being entirely truthful saves heartache.

Aram is horrified to realise that in order to be qualified for the job he wants he has to marry royalty - and a "weirdo" princess at that! However, soon, he realises that this arrangement may be the best thing to ever happen to him.

Good read. Miss Gates is a very good author.
