Way lamer than I ever imagined a pulp could be with a cover like that. Writing was lifeless, characters were emotional ciphers, the twist was idiotic. Blah, I say.

Now that I'm both on a keyboard and remembered the thing I was going to say that I've forgotten repeatedly since I originally posted my review, I would recommend Dorothy Salisbury's A Gentle Murderer way and above this one. It actually delivers on the psychological front and doesn't have a lame bait and switch at the end.
