The final instalment of the Sky Song trilogy, Not of Our Sky, is a fitting end to the series indeed.

Things start off pretty badly for the central trio, with Jacob fighting the kind of battle no one can help him with, and Ellen struggling to hold everyone around him together. The first half of the book is told largely from Ellen's perspective and the daily struggles she faces, paired with a strange recurring dream, mean that this section is nothing short of enthralling.

Just wow! Sant delivers in the final part of the Sky Song trilogy with Not of Our Sky. Her prose is clean and crisp and the story vivid and emotional as the battle against Makash reaches its climactic ending. There are unexpected twists and shocks to keep you turning the pages as well as extremely well written emotional scenes. So emotional I was attempting not to cry as I sat on a train in front of other people. If I'd have been at home I would have been sobbing! If you like tension and emotion ...more

Not of Our Sky (Sky Song Trilogy #3)
by Sharon Sant

This is the last of the three books that are in the series, and the tension builds up at a steady pace to reach a powerful climax. I am not going to tell you the ending other than its awesome and now that I have finished it, I am looking forward to reading some more of Sharon Sant’s work.

I was on the edge of my seat as I read Sky Song Trilogy about Jacob’s fight for his life. You can really connect with him over his love for his earth parents, a

The final book of Sharon Sant's trilogy that I have loved! This book at first,is told from other characters point of view. We find out a lot more about Ellen and her family and also the Astraen people.
I like that each one of the characters in the trilogy had a story to tell, the focus wasn't just on Jacob. The ending was incredible. I won't reveal where it takes place but I know the area very well and have seen it during bad weather so it brought back some very vivid memories.
I will definitely

A beautiful ending to a lovely series, that leaves me satisfied, warm and full to the brim. Like a large hardy meal that forces you to loosen your trouser belt. "tight as a drum"
I can't praise Sharon Sant enough, with her delightful story telling and thought provoking characters, that move you in such a real and human way, enticing you along, to live and breathe her world, her story. This trilogy is definitely a hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows. A simple mix of heaven...yum, yum

I've had this book since Christmas and I couldn't wait to get stuck into the final instalment of The Sky Song trilogy. I was almost savouring it as it was the final Sharon Sant novel I'd had left to read, but having loved her previous novels, I knew I couldn't leave it alone for too long. Especially with its wonderful, attractive cover, which in my opinion, is the best cover out of the entire trilogy.

Over the course of the other two novels, Sharon Sant introduces us to Jacob, a teenager who disc

Such a long review to write- I'll just copy & paste it from the original review post @ Amy Bookworm - formatting & GIFs lost due to C&P but I have marked spoilers for your convenience

Not Of Our Sky was not a disappointment. Duh, it was the last book in the Sky Song trilogy but it lived up to every expectation I had, met wish after wish & turned out absolutely stunning. It just fits with the series so much & I love how they've flowed and the series has now been wrapped up. I c

If you enjoyed Sky Song and The Young Moon, the first two books in this trilogy, you'll love Not of our Sky.

Much is at stake: Jake in a coma, the cost he paid for saving a life; Alex being mentored by the power-hungry Makash, the being eager to take control of Astrae once and for all, no matter the cost.

With Jacob unreachable, the storytelling baton passes to other characters, like the fabulous Ellen, whose own struggles and actions make her a strong personality in her own right. The dialogue i

As a big fan of Sky Song and The Young Moon, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the finale to this fantastic YA fantasy series. This book is different in that it focuses on other characters rather than on Jacob. I loved getting more from these two - Luca and Ellen - as I have always been very fond of them both. It also padded out some more minor characters such as Jacob's parents, which enabled me as a reader to get invested in the story.

The plot was concluded well and all loose ends were tied u

The final part of the Sky Song trilogy. I was reading the ending in class and cried in class, thanks Sharon. However with that aside I adored the ending. The story change was amazing, moods changing left right and centre. Luca's humour has actually improved throughout the book in my eyes and Jellen (Jacob and Ellen ship) was a beautiful love with there minds almost as one. I NEED MORE SKY SONG! The story of Alexandra the 2nd would be cool *hint hint*
Perfect ending. I swear there was a heart attack moment. Just sat here like HOW COULD YOU SHARON? SERIOUSLY! ANYTHING BUT THAT!!

I adored this. Every instalment of the series has raised the bar and left me thinking where does Sharon Sant go from here. I like to think that she’s got a lot more potential and a massive bag of tricks waiting for me to review (no seriously, I want to review all of her books foreve
