So for like 12 books we have been hearing abt how freaky and Kinky Reese is. We finally get to his story and who does he get mated with..... the most vanilla prudish person ever. Yes Kiki ( seriously? ) has a good reason for having issues with sex. We have met his father in previous books and we know his father is a complete asshole. Kiki seems like a nice kid but honestly how and why he was paired with Reese ill never understand. I really felt like reese and Kiki didn't truly understand eachoth ...more

I'm afraid this was the least favorite from the series.

To be cute or not to be cute??? hmmm...thinking..2.5 to 3 stars

There are things that bother me while liking (okaying) the story..

Bothered by:
Kiki's past.. I guess may have been revealed in a previous book but if so I don't remember. Either way he didn't fully confide in Reece.

Reece.. pairing up the voyeur with an almost innocent fey with issues who doesn't come across as even anywhere near able to contend with this kink. They don't feel balanced as a couple.

Blast from the past from Reece... for

Pre Read Thoughts: I don’t really know what to expect from this book. Reese is sort of a mystery; all I know is dude likes to watch while his friends get their freak on. So I’m anxious to learn more about him. I’m also sort of cautiously optimistic about the book b/c it seems like with this series I either really like them (like Valentino’s Cowboy) or really dislike them (like Frisco James). There’s not a whole lot of in-between. I’m hoping I enjoy this one and Kiki is the kind of character tail ...more

Last night had been nothing more than harmful teasing.

Don’t you mean harmless? Or maybe playful? Yeah, this is just a simple typo but this thing is littered with similar ones.

Hm. Recker and Frisco are still entirely out of my grasp as characters. I have given up on figuring out what their personalities are supposed to be now. That’s just a tiny blip though.

More importantly, Reese is a disappointment.
Strangely enough, the reverse is the case with Kiki, who in this volume completely shed his previ

This was a cute addition to the series... My only problem with the books in having is why the shifters aren't shifting anymore ??? How does Reece get hurt and not shift to heal??? Other than that I really enjoy this authors books

I feel that these two MCs lost in the mate department. There was no kink what-so-ever and I was really looking forward to Reece's book.

Another great story from the Brac Village series, this time focusing on Reese the polar bear shifter and Kiki the fey. Both men have dark secrets and hurts in their past that they need to overcome and there are two stalkers afoot!!! I enjoyed this. Another great read from a great sifter series.

This one was my least favorite of the series. You would think with both Reese and Kiki it would've been a whole lot better.

Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.

You can find her on any given day curled up with her laptop and a cup of hot java, letting the next set of characters tell their story.
