I bought this as a refresher when I need to relearn C++ for my MSc Project. The main problem with this book is it's not complete. It didn't feel like it covered all of C++ and the index was pretty poor. The book describes itself as "A complete introduction to the C++ programming language". However, when I wanted to remind myself how inheritance worked, I looked in the index under: Inheritance, Polymorphism and Virtual methods. Nope, nothing there.
