This was such a moving story right from the start and, I can honestly say that I didn't want it to finish. I've had a soft spot for Noah since he was introduced to us in The Bounty so it was really nice that he got to have his own book.

Noah, (kind, compassionate and thougthful, but with a sad past burried away deep inside), sets off on a mission to find "himself" following an incident a home. Noah drifts and eventually finds himself a place to call home in Chancetown, a seemingly pleasant place...more

This is probably my favorite from this series, and that's saying a lot! There isn't one of these books I haven't enjoyed.

In theory, this is a much simpler story than the others, but there is a freshness to it that I loved. The hero is a good man, trying to do some good and make the lives of those around him better. The heroine has been dealt a sad lot in life, but has some wonderfully endearing traits. She's survived on the streets on her own, and she says and does what she thinks - no second-gu...more

Noah Calhoun left his family after a bad incident that almost killed his father Tyler. Now in a new town, he is now the sheriff. But not everything seems as nice as it did on first glance.
Rosalyn Benedict has lived on the street since she was eight years old and wouldn't accept no ones help. Especially some newbie in town. But Noah Calhoun is persistent to help her.
As Noah helps Rosalyn and they get to know each other, their walls around their heart start to crumble and before they know it the...more

Noah Calhoun didn’t know where he belonged until he accepted a job as Sheriff at Chancetown. Befriending a feisty waif and making her his deputy wasn’t in his game plan, especially when he finds out there’s a voluptuous woman beneath the grime. Before he knows what hit him, he’s up to his neck in a battle between cattlemen and sheep ranchers and down to his birthday suit with the street-smart Rosalyn.
Rosalyn Benedict fled to the streets when her mother’s life met an unwarranted end. Angry at t...more

This is the last book of this series (#7). I loved it, one of the best. Noah is the adopted son of Nicky and Tyler (from the 1st book in the series The Bounty). He meets up with a ragamuffin homeless woman Rosalyn Benedict who just makes him think of himself before he was adopted.
He takes the job of sheriff and there is some corrupt dealings between the mayor and the cow owners trying to run out the sheep hearders from the town. And they expect Noah to help out. Noah wasn't raised to do things w...more
