This book is a must read for anyone with a family member in law enforcement. It would also be good for someone considering a career in law enforcement. Very well written and insightful.

Amazing that Paul Ragonese and partners were able to arrest armed robbers without killing any suspects.

Pro: Entertaining police stories, family narrative weaved in, incredibly well written lifestory set in gritty post 80's New York City.
Con: Book tends to act as a collection of stories, broken up by a few personal life moments.

I grew up in a law enforcement family. The book hit true to home on a lot of points and gives the reader the inside workings of the NYPD.
