I remember our trips to the library when I was a young girl. I would run right to the Patricia Coombs section and pluck out a Dorrie book to take home. Dorrie was a wonderful character, she was a witch who wore striped socks and had a cat named Gink. "Her hat is always on crooked and her socks never match."
