I have recently spent a lot of time thinking about my place in the world, I bought that book when I was pregnant with my now 8 year old. It was written by a woman that did it in the style of the wonderful, former Dr. Seuss: My children mean the world to me, and "I am someone's child", so the principles apply. You will be greeted with relish and enthusiasm, you are beloved, etc. Each of my siblings and myself were met in this world by a lovely earthly family that wants only the bes...more
I read this book aloud every night when I was pregnant. My boys were born prematurely and were in the NICU. I went into their room and read this book to them the day they were born. Both boys' heart rates increased when they heard and recognized my voice.
I would recommend this book to any pregnant woman. I couldn't make it through without crying the first few times I read it because it's just so touching.

I really enjoyed reading this book! Although it is not a book I will probably use in my furture classroom I believe that it is a great book to read to your baby while you are pregnant.
Read it throughout my pregnancy and Isaac smiled and cooed when I read to him again as an infant.
cute story using the characters and themes from various Dr Seuss book. meant to be read "in utero"
First book read with mommy and the baby!
Another favorite, makes a great baby gift!

One of my favorite Dr. Suess books. Great book gift to share with expectant and young mothers. Oh baby, there's nothing you can 't do and no place you can't go

I wasn't a huge Dr Seuss fan as a child - not only the grinch, but also the Cat in the Hat were scary to me!
So I didn't really get into this book while X-man was in utero. But now that I'm getting into Seuss, understanding the rhyme and getting the references to other Seuss books, I expect that this will become a favourite if/when any siblings come along.

I have always been a HUGE Dr. Seuss fan, so when I saw this book (intended to be read to baby while still growing in utero), I had to buy it. I love the rhythm and rhyme of all the books...
Jim & I read this to "Peanut" every once in a while...and I tear-up at the end every time!

Each night we read this to my daughter in utero and she kicked almost everytime. And when she was an infant, sometimes I would recite it to her when she was fussy and it would calm her down. Quick and fun way to interact with your little miracle.
This is a sweet little book for pregnant mothers to read to their child in utero. It tells of all the things the baby will get to do when it arrives. It ends with "we can't wait to meet you." Full of hormones, I got a little misty-eyed.
This book is created to read to read to your baby while in utero. It is a really cute book, by the makers of Dr. Seuss books, in that same style, explaining what the baby has to look forward to in all the adventures of the Dr. Seuss books.
I read this to Lilith during her last 3 months in utero and the first few weeks after she was born. This must be where she gets her weirdness from (certainly not me).
This is really a cute book. My sister got it while she was pregnant and asked me to read it to her unborn child. It made me cry, it was so sweet and tender.
Tyler read this to Lincoln everyday during the last two months I was pregnant. We loved our little bedtime story and we think Lincoln liked it too.
I would read this book to my son by talking into a small microphone with mini speakers on my very pregnant belly. It is a very cute book!
I got this for high school graduation. I read it now and then when my life really is going so well for inspiration and it works every time!
