We visited Iona on my first trip to the UK and I became very intrigued by the Iona Community, a Christian spirituality and social mission group that grew out of an outreach mission in Glasgow and now includes members all over the world. The members have to commit to a Christian mission focus, a certain level of financial giving and to going to the island of Iona very so often to renew ties with the community.
