The second book I have read by Bernd Heinrich, "Racing the Antelope" was more interesting to me as a runner than "Winter World". From now on, if I am ever nervous before a race, I will read Chapter 20. It is one of the most motivating and passionate passages I've ever read about long distance running.

I liked the analogies he draw between life and running. I was training for a marathon while I was reading this, so it was inspirational.
