I was fortunate to win this book from GoodReads First Reads giveaways.

I enjoyed this novel. It was a fast paced, easy to read book with a satisfying plot.

The author did a good job of interweaving the story of Randy and Rodrigo. Neither story dominated so a balance of past and present was easily achieved. The protagonist is given a good amount of depth so you cared what his ultimate fate would bring. The addition of quirky and bizarre characters, with some plot twists completes the novel.

A fun, fast paced, genre-bending novel - a sort of Noir/Fantasy/Mystery - that takes you across time and continents, from seedy German night clubs full of scammers to the "New World" with tribes of people trying to survive and resist their unalterable fate. Who do you trust? Who's on your side? And why won't this crazy-bitch ghost leave our hero alone? Read and find out.

What a fun, exciting read. I loved the 2 very different, yet interweaving story lines. It has great character development, that I found it easy to relate to. I couldn't put it down, and when it was over I wanted more!
