I have been friends with the author for over twenty years, and in that time I have witnessed first hand some of the pain and triumph she has faced in life. Her writing, like her life, is visceral and beautiful all at once. With words, J. Marie Jameson is able to transport you to her feelings in that moment, so much so that you can reach out and touch the emotion as if it were a palpable thing.
