It's been so long since I put this book on hold, it took me awhile to remember why I wanted to read it, and then I went and looked at the publisher, and voila ... DK ... that said it all!

As I've said numerous times before, you can't go wrong with DK!

There are a few different sections here. The first, takes the reader through various individual foods. Sections are broken down by Fruits, and then Orchard Fruits, Vine Fruits, Berries and Currants, etc. There are also sections for Vegetables, Seeds

I loved this book...but I love everything DK Publishing prints. The visuals are by far the best!

Use this like a dictionary, dip in where you need to do so.

This book as great descriptions of foods and excellent recipes as well. Use this book to improve your cooking skills and to introduce new ingredients to your kitchen.

This book would make a great gift for a foodie or a developing cook.
