Black City Is Dark Adventure

I like the characters of this series although Ulysses seems a little dense at times in spite his brilliant ideas. To many narrow escapes and some story flaws which leave me scratching my head. The book certainly stretches reality about as far as can be before coming science fiction.

Another winner!!!

This is the second book of the Ulysses Vidal adventures. Hopefully the third book will be out soon

This is an adventure story about three friends who travel to the Amazon seeking the daughter of the professor. During their search, they find a lost city in the middle of the Amazon. As in book #1, the characters are well developed along with a action packed story. This is a great read.

Engaging thriller

I read the previous book in this series and enjoyed it too. Not literary genius, just a good thrilling fun ride. Hope there's a next book in the series.

Well, after read the book , I consider that it's a easy book and nothing special like other comments I read. He needs to improvise more, things happens and always no really keep you with this desire to read more. Just the end happens things more like a good writer trying to keep the reader inside of the book. Definitely I didn't read la ultima cripta from this writer but I will not do it. I could expect the same of this book.

Clever flowing plot but jumpy writing.

I like the plot and character development, but the writing was choppy with short abrupt scenes. You can put this book down and come back a day later without getting lost, but it doesn't make you eager to turn the page often enough.

Yeah!

Great follow-up to the first book, but EVEN BETTER.. I think you're starting to be a little "Wilbur Smith-ish" no higher praise can I ever offer.... Keep going we are out here reading!

High adventure

Colorful characters on a high adventure that is based on some true facts. The author gives the solution for escape at just the right moment! Looking forward to the next adventure!

Kept my interest from start to finish.

This adventure lives up to the saying of never a dull moment.
Didn't want this read to end, the only consolation is knowing that there is more to come.

Very good book

Very good book. Nice fast paced action in the beginning and to the middle. Starts to get a little drawn out in the middle and towards the end. Still a very good historical fiction

Exciting

Enjoyed reading like the archeological search and all the theories. The concept of a mutated race of killers and the battle for survival was a little graphic

Kinda far fetched....

It reminded me of the old McGiver series on tv, that's how far fetched.
Skip this and read his first book.
