4 Stars

The synopsis for this book caught me, I read it and it sounded interesting. I’m kind of a sucker for these kinds of books, you know nanny hooks up with hot and handsome Dad or does she? That’s the question behind Red Carpet Romance; Susanna Barnes is hired by Hollywood action star, Quinn Roberts, to care for a 5 month old baby he calls Junior. He pretty much refuses to have anything to do with the baby and while that puts her off, ther

"Oh, baby, I want you bad, " he whispered.
"You? Who? The movie star?"
"There's the movie guy, the Joe Martin guy, and then there's just me...a man."
"So who wants me?"
"The man."

This is the second book in the Hollywood Hearts series. At the end of book one Chaz gets a frantic text from his best friend Quinn saying he has been left to care for a baby. Red Carpet Romance opens with the nanny Quinn hires arrives.

Susanna is the perfect nanny for Quinn; she is confident and has been around celebrities b

Red Carpet Romance by Jean Joachim

This contemporary romance is the story of Quinn Roberts and Susanna Barnes, set in New York and Hollywood, it is a modern twist on a Cinderella story.

Quinn Roberts is handsome, sexy, single and a movie star. And...he finds himself with a 5 month old boy he calls junior. What does a movie star know about babies? Nothing. So, needing help, he hires a nanny. The moment Susanna Barnes enters his apartment, he feels that there is something different about her, he's d

To sum this story up with one word it was……cute. This story draws you in from the very first chapter when you meet both the main characters. They both are very easy characters to love and are pretty much what made the story for me.

Suzanna is left in a bind when her father dies suddenly. She has to find a job fast after her current job falls through. She takes a job as a nanny (the child’s name is Junior) for the HOTTT celebrity, Quinn Roberts. Suzanna was such an easy character to love! She was

This is a truly sweet book with great (read HOT) chemistry between the hero and heroine. Despite his stardom Quinn is a down to earth, just good guy. Now that doesn't mean he doesn't make mistakes when it comes to Susanna. She comes in as a temporary nanny for "Junior" and isn't immediately taken with him...happiness and heartbreak ensue. Add those into the mix with a spiteful author and a secretive good friend and you have a recipe for either disaster or happily ever after!

Pros: fun read. Fast-

My next book review is called Red Carpet Romance by Jean C. Joachim. This was my first book by this author. I love the cover especially the baby toy hanging from the Letter C. I could picture Susanna walking down the red carpet with Quinn.

I am a big romantic at heart and love books like this one. You know girl meets boy. Boy has issues with knowing if he really is in love with girl. They go through something then realize they were meant to be. Quinn is a likeable character, who is an actor, but

3.5 stars rounded up to 4. A very enjoyable "fluff" romance book. He's a big name movie star trying to change the course of his career from an action hero to a romantic lead. She's a down on her luck daughter of a famous basketball coach who was killed in a car crash in which she was a passenger. She needs a job and is hired as a nanny for the movie star under somewhat strange circumstances. He doesn't seem to be very attached to the baby and won't answer any questions about whether the baby is ...more

Another great story in the Hollywood series.

I loved Quinn and Susanna. I loved their story, their dialogue, their characters, everything about them.

This story had me in tears in parts and grinning like an idiot in others.

There was Heartache, Deception, Lack of Trust, Deceit, but there was also Love, Compassion, Loyalty and Determination.

This was a multi pov but was mostly from Susanna's pov. I would loved to have seen more of Quinns pov in this book. One thing I did miss was more of the charact

I have loved every book I’ve read from Jean and Red Carpet Romance is right there at the top. I loved Quinn and Susanna from the very beginning. Quinn is a loyal and dedicated person with a heart of gold. Susanna is a strong, resilient woman who has a positive attitude and loving heart despite all life has thrown her way. This is not your typical nanny falling in love with her employer type story, there is so much more to Quinn, Susanna, their lives, their relationship. This is a definite must ...more

Jean does it again! Loved this book and I find myself saying that a lot when it comes to Ms. Joachim's stories. She weaves a story that pulls you in and makes you feel for the characters. Every character in this story has a purpose and is not just a page filler. Susanna, Quinn, and Junior makes three are three of the best written characters yet. Susanna makes you feel for her when you read everything she goes through and then Quinn, such a hot commodity in Hollywood, but much more human around ...more

When I finish a book grinning like a goofy lovestruck fool, it gets five stars.

I loved Quinn. Head over heels love (just don't tell Chaz from book 1). He was thoughtful, and sweet, and just awesome.

Susanna "Susie Q" was a wonderful heroine. Her big heart actually tripped her up on her path to love, but never enough to stop her forward motion.

I wasn't surprised by the twist, in fact I'd expected it from the moment Susanna went to the park the first day...but I adored the resolution wasn't quic

Hollywood Hearts 2- Red Carpet Romance draws you in from the first and doesn't let go. A handsome, hunky, movie star, a beautiful nanny, and a cute as a button baby living together make for some fabulous scenes. Jean Joachim's style of vivid description matched with humor and great emotion, all make this book a real page turner. I have read all of Ms. Joachim's romance novels and I have to admit that the Hollywood Hearts series has quickly become my favorite. I love the excitement of celebrity ...more

“Red Carpet Romance” is the second installment in the Hollywood Hearts series. I loved the storyline of this book. It draws you in from the very first chapter and keeps you interested until the very last page. This book had me gasping at certain scenes, but it had a lot of humor too. I like a book that keeps you guessing and doesn’t reveal the plot from the very beginning, and Mrs. Joachim is very good at achieving this. The intimate scenes are full of passion, very well written, with lots of ...more

Jean has wrote another Fabulous read.Quinn is a movie star and Susanna (aka Susie Q) is his live in nanny for a baby called Junior. I read this book the same day that I received it. Jean done a really good job it has a little bit of mystery and how the paparazzi treat the famous and she even has jealous vindictive women in it. Quinn and Susie have feelings for each other but should they cross that line between nanny and boss? Can Susie love a man that calls his baby Junior? Susie accidentally ...more

no matter how small their part is. You get the feeling that you are there
witnessing their journey. I will be honest with you it was becoming a four star
book as I was reading it but I didnt think it would be a 5 star but let me tell you
I was wrong as you enter farther In to the story you realized the depth of

I've been making up stories for as long as I can remember. When other kids wanted to be doctors, teachers or firemen, I wanted to be a writer.
As soon as I could read, I began devouring books. I'd read anything I could get my hands on, but Louisa May Alcott's Little Women and Nancy Drew mysteries were early favorites.
In school, term papers were my favorite homework. While others bemoaned the amou
