I'm very proud of this book and the other book in the series Kapow. My kids and I had a lot of fun making them both. I especially love the interaction that the new epub2 format allows. I also love the illustrations that my friend Stan Zivanovich did for these books; they are vibrant, and capture the mood I imagined when I wrote them.

Although it is a children's book/story, it is well constructed and certainly entertaining to children between the ages of 5-9.

I began writing stories as a means of staying connected to my young children while I was deployed with the US Army. One of my greatest rewards is hearing my children get excited about something I've written. It helps me feel closer to them. I look forward the quiet moments before they fall asleep when we share our favorite stories from the day's events or the book shelf sitting against the wall.
