I wanted one of these dolls since I was 11, I am a lot older than that now but I finally got the doll and this book. It was fun to read about the characters I have wanted for so long :)

A Magic Attic Club fan, this book was one of my favorites in the series. Traveling through the magic mirror, the girls end up at Camp Whispering Pines, a summer camp in the middle of the woods. Around the campfire, past camper Rachel tells the story of Jacob: a relative of the camp's founder who disappeared with his dog in the woods and was never found. Usually in "The Magic Attic Club", the girls take their adventures individually. While those independent adventures are fun and all, it's really cool when the entire club takes one big adventure together. It makes their friendship seem stronger and more believable.
