Outstanding presentation makes this easy to digest. Akin to the Odyssey more than the Egyptian or Tibetan books of the dead, but helped me gain new insight into the spiritual and symbolic nature of all these texts, including the oral stories of Ancient Greece. Great text for understanding more about shamanic storytelling craft as well as the spiritual process involved for reader and storyteller.

Did not enjoy this - was looking for a book of stories, not some woolly tarot guff. Citation was non-existent except when Ms Matthews quoted one of her own books. Very disappointing and uninformative.
