If you are into Joseph Campbell this will round out your study nicely. And because Murray is a genius with the language, you can study his style at the same time that you're getting a bit of learning under your belt. Murray's ideas are excellent and engaging. There are probably a lot of books out there comparing the blues player to the archetypical hero. I haven't checked into it. No doubt there's some college course devoted to just such a study. But anyway, for us lay people, it's a really good
