My opinion: Normally, I wouldn't give a novella a page in my blog nor would I give it a full review, but I must admit I love the writing of Kathleen Valentine. This one was no exception. I truly consider her works to be novels that can go head to head, toe to toe with ANY traditionally published book and I feel sorry for those who snub their noses at an Indie published book because this type of excellence is what they lose out on.

A continuance of The Craz...more

A suspenseful page-turner! I liked this 2nd novelette better than the The Crazy Old Lady in the Attic. A Boston mansion full of old family secrets and lies...and more secrets...and coverups...and scandal. When 1 family secret gives way, more and more start to reveal themselves. People start to die. Each death is connected leading to the next. I was beginning to get suspicious of every character in the book. Who was good and who was evil? Who was honest; who held their secrets best? Did they meet...more

Ok, so I did like it and please take this with a grain of salt as I have SUCH a narrow scope of enjoying books.......it just seemed a bit juvenile - the writing didn't feel like an accomplished author and the story line a bit draggy.........with all of that said, I did read it in less than a day and today was definitely a day I needed a light read, so I stuck with it, but I most likely won't read another one of this author's, but as I say, given the more positive reviews, don't pass it by just b...more

I love these books. The story, the characters, everything about it is just my favorite things put together in one wonderful mystery. The only thing I have against it is that it comes in three parts and we have to wait...but I can live with that.
If you like a story about friendship, or murder, a cold case and maybe a case of unfaithfulness and revenge, makes you angry but also makes you feel good then this is your book. But please start with the first one called The Crazy Old Lady in the Attic.

Honestly I think I love this one more that The Crazy Old Lady in the Attic. Dont get me wrong I loved the first one but the second one was great. Read it for yourself to find out who the crazy old lady is.

The Crazy Old Lady's Revenge is the second story in Kathleen Valentine's Crazy Old Lady series. Like the first story, The Crazy Old Lady in the Attic, this story is a first rate psychological thriller. In fact, I liked the story line for this one a little more than the first. The story line here was more complex than the first one and I really had to pay attention. I loved the way that Kathleen dropped clues throughout the story. I was constantly guessing at where the story was leading, and cons...more
