i read this book years before i moved to Seattle, and it's a little outdated now. i'd say about half of the bars and restaurants they reviewed are currently out of business. i would love it if the Stranger (the local free newspaper), would put out an updated version of this. the problem with Seattle is there seems to be a new slew of places opening daily, with just as many closing. hard to keep on top of it.
