One of my American friends here lent me this book because she thought it was good, but after attempting to get through it bit by bit for about 4 months now, I can honestly say it's trash. It's chick-lit at it's worst, with a cross-continental scandal of friends with a secret past and a journalist boyfriend who will do anything to uncover the secrets of the two in hopes of getting his big break. Yawn.
