Suspense, action, red hot passion, and a kick ass hero! This read was awesome!

The story is about, good looking , I will save you from all danger hero and special agent, Nick.Coming back to his home town for a funeral he does not have any plans to be thrown head first into a encounter with his ex fiancée Libby.

She broke his heart and she and his broken heart needs to stay in the past, it is just better that way. But when Libby 's life is threatened by a serial killer she kind of has no choice but

This Suspense novel has an interesting plot. There is a serial killer, who leaves clues each day and on The Seventh Day he kills his Target. As one reads through this novel, you find yourself wondering when the next clue will appear. And will the Hero & Heroine solve the case before the killer strikes again. The story had me guessing for a while. While I was able to figure out who the killer was early in the story, It did not take way from this being a good read. The author did a good job of ...more

Meet Nick Foster. An abused child from a broken home, he pulled himself up by his shoelaces and made a respectable career in law enforcement. Meet Libby Andrews. A respected judge's daughter, from the elite layer of society. A dedicated lawyer and a fireball in the courtroom. She's out of Nick's league. But she wasn't always. He'd adored her since childhood and they had even been engaged. Until one day Libby told Nick she didn't love him any more.

But right now Libby's facing a crisis of a lifetm

THE SEVEN-DAY TARGET by Natalie Charles is a Harlequin Romantic Suspense releasing in April 2013.

Elizabeth Andrews had broken off her relationship with Nick and had tried to move on. Yet here he was telling her that she was the target of a serial killer.

Could she accept his help now? After all she had secrets she wanted hidden from Nick. And the chemistry between them still sizzled. The attraction was still there.

THE SEVEN-DAY TARGET’s premise is exciting and the story keeps you involved from t

I really enjoyed this book. It had action, suspense, and romance. Libby and Nick was engaged to get married a few years ago. Libby thought it would be better to let Nick go so he could have the life he deserved. She never told him Why. 3 years later, Libby is a target of a serial killer, and Nick comes back to protect her. He is still carrying around the hurt. Libby can’t bear to tell him why, or that she still loves him. When both Nick, and Libby are put into a life or death situation they both ...more
Good book with lots of suspense. I ended up liking both Nick and Libby, though I had problems with Libby at first. Nick has returned to his hometown to attend the funeral of Libby's father. He has no plans to see or speak to her. But when his former partner on the police force called to tell him that Libby is the target of a deadly stalker, Nick decides to stick around to protect her.

I preferred Nick to Libby. He came to town to pay his respects to Libby's father, even though they had never got

Wow! Loved every page!

This is the first Harlequin Romantic Suspense I have read and I have to say DO NOT read it curled up on the couch by yourself in the dark... I was continuously peeking up at every little creak I heard, The Seven-Day Target was THAT good!!!

FBI Special Agent Nick has returned to 'lil 'ole Arbor Falls, his hometown and unfortunately hometown of his one and only true love, Libby. His ex police partner has found a body and wants to talk to Nick. Before he can blink Nick is force

What a fabulous, romantic suspense book!

I can see why Natalie Charles won the 2011 Harlequin Mills and Boon New Voices competition. Natalie has an engaging voice and I was drawn into the lives of these likeable characters right away. I was anxious to find out why Libby broke up with Nick and wanted to see them together. I'm a sucker for a hero who's a self-made success. Nick Foster is everything you want in a hero, and I loved that he wanted to protect her, even though they weren't together anym

Recommends it for: ... romance readers?
Nick Foster and Libby Andrews seem to have moved on from their broken engagement. Libby is an attorney, and Nick now works as an FBI agent in another town. However, when Nick comes back to attend the funeral of Libby's father, he learns that Libby is the target of a serial killer. Despite their past, Nick will do everything in his power to protect Libby and help discover who is behind the plot.

I don't tend to be an avid reader of this genre, but I decided to give this one a shot because of the m

About a girl (Libby) and a guy (Nick, who is a special agent).
She dumps him because she can’t have babies.
He comes back to save her from a murderer.
They fall in love again.

The characters were well constructed and I enjoyed how most of their thoughts were in

I love suspense books as much as romance, and this book was a perfect blend of the two. I also have a particular interest in reunion stories, and this was a beautifully written book about second chances.

Libby and Nick are reunited when Nick is asked to protect her from a serial killer who sends six clues over six days and kills on the seventh. Forced to spend time together, Nick and Libby's history is slowly brought to light, revealing a painful and touching secret that ultimately tore them apa

Horrible heroine.
So many times u must have read books about hero's ex who was whiny, irritable, control freak and so on and so forth. Well that kind of girl is Libby in this book. First she broke hero's heart, hurt him badly instead of telling him the truth and even after all of this hero is still protecting her and she was behaving as if she was doing hero a great favor. It has to be her way or the highway.
It was really a task to read this book. I was hoping that the killer would kill her so e

I won this book in a give away so I thought I'd give it a shot. I read the author's mini bio before starting the book and was intrigued. As a former prosecutor myself, I often find books involving legal proceedings to be too far fetched to enjoy so I was eager to read this since the author is an attorney also. The book was great, I finished it in a day and enjoyed the story (which is heavily recapped by others so I won't bother). I think I might have found a new favorite genre and look forward t ...more

My wife wrote this book. I obviously have a bias. I loved this book. It is a page turner. Natalie manages to keep the suspense alive from start to finish. The result is a very enjoyable read. I hope you read this book. I hope you enjoy it is much as I did.

It was a very well written book. I liked the characters for the most part. The story was pretty solid. The only complaint is that for me anyways I figured out who was involved 2/3 of the way thru. All in all, a good book by a good author. I got this book free from good reads.

Natalie Charles writes books for readers to escape in, alternating between thrilling romantic suspense and light contemporary romance. She has worked as an attorney, a playground supervisor, and a makeup sales clerk, but not in that order. The happy sufferer of a lifelong addiction to mystery novels, Natalie has, sadly, never out-sleuthed a detective. She is a RT Reviewers' Choice Award recipient ...more
