This is an excellent lecture series concerning J.R.R. Tolkien, his work in history and mythology, his creative process and unique style, and his effect on modern literature. If you are a fan of Middle Earth, a writer, or if you have an interest in literature, you are likely to enjoy "Of Sorcerers and Men."

For scholars and fantasy fanboys and fangirls alike, "Of Sorcerers and Men" was a fantastic audio experience. Professor Drout is so animated about his subject that it is hard to not share his enthusiasm. Covering the history of the fantasy genre, Drout also explores the Tolkien imitators and reactionaries as well. A true gem.
