4th installment in this series was great. I loved the characters and the fast paced action. I loved revisiting old friends from the first books.

Caro is a hard-nosed cop being forced on medical leave. Why? Because she saw a man murdered but the murderer was invisible. Caro couldn't let what she saw go and kept talking about it. Messenger Investigations is recommended to her as a way to investigate what happened and still be part of the case.

Vampire mage priest, Damien Keller, is staying with Jud
Interesting story. Heroine is a cop with mild psychic abilities. She's put on medical leave for seeing impossible things, like a man fly through the air and impale himself on trophy antlers. A cop friend sends her to a private investigator who looks into impossible cases... and that's when stuff gets really weird. Like, the hero is a vampire. The world building in this was a little thin to me, maybe because it's a later book in a series that I didn't read. Other than that, it was a pretty good r ...more

I was looking forward to the next chapter in The Claiming series and I was not disappointed!
A somewhat psychic police sargeant, Caro is believed to be crazy when she witnesses the death of a man by an invisible force. She is put on medical leave and referred to a PI that deals with the weird. Damien is a vampire that happens to be in the right place at the wrong time. Helping with a rogue problem that caused a bit of an uproar, he is drawn to Caro like no woman before her.

This book was just so disorganized and hard to follow. trying to work through my physical TBR stack, and this came up. The characters are never fleshed out and we only get information when they need to explain how they just did something. Just awful, and this author is normally better than this.

This was a new duo! a somewhat psychic cop and a vampire?! who would've ever imagined? Well clearly Rachel Lee and damn was she right! This psychic cop who usually discounts her psychic encounters is flabbergasted when she sees a man get murder and by whom? nothing! just the air, and as one can assume the law enforcement agency thinks she's lost her marbles and she has to turn to an investigator who oddly only has evening hours...a vampire agency set on ridding evil in the city! She begins to fe ...more

Claimed By The Immortal had a good plot and story line. However the book moved at too slow a pace for my taste. Rachel Lee did a great job introducing the characters, and from there the book seemed to lag.
I've finished two Harlequins since I last wrote: Claimed by the Immortal by Rachel Lee from of the Harlequin Nocturne as well as To Sin with a Viking by Michelle Willingham from he Harlequin Historical. I enjoyed both of them and was able to see that both actually are mini-worlds, where additional books can tell the romances of other characters you encounter briefly in these stories. Little did I know that would suck me RIGHT in. I'm totally curious about the other stories in this series and am ...more

"Lee's latest will keep readers hooked. The whodunit isn't obvious at all, and there are plenty of likely suspects to choose from. Additionally, the sexual tension between the protagonists is hot." RT Book Reviews, rated 4 stars
