I will agree with another reviewer. Did not like heroine's previous boyfriend was 20 years older than her. She was too sophisticated for me and and even cold at some parts.

Princess Ava uses indifference as a mask to hide her feelings and her need for her father's approval. Security expert J. Wolfe has seen first hand - in his parents marriage - the devastating side of love. Ava is looking for love and marriage. Wolfe likes his affairs short and simple. You can't find two persons more different.
Their first encounter is funny. The banter between these two strong headed is witty and fun to read. Wolfe ruffles Ava's regal feathers but she gives as good as sh

Duty At What Cost? by Michelle Conder was a very good book. Some tried to kill Ava. Someone did kill her brother. Now she will be Princess of her country. Wolfe is hired to protect Ava. They fall in love but fight it.

Duty At What Cost is a good book. Ava is a really level headed, not into living the princess lifestyle lady. While Wolfe is a love jaded millionaire/bodyguard. Together they but heads and have great chemistry, and find what they are really looking for in life.

Excellent story from Michelle Conder! An absolute delight to read. I adored Ava, found Wolfe sexy as hell and their quippy banter and sizzling attraction kept the pages turning. Definitely a keeper!
