A lot of this information was not new to me since I had already read books by Frederic Patenaude and Doug Graham, but it was helpful to see yet another person's success, especially someone who has been in the same place that I am kind of in right now - unmotivated and ready to give up. Andrew writes in an even and factual tone; he is not trying to convert anyone to his way of eating, just trying to give advice to help people. If you're serious about what you're putting to your body and/or are worried about blood sugar levels and getting old-age illnesses, then please do yourself a favor and read Andrew's book.

He covers how eating fruit, and lots of it, is "nature's way" and he does explain how the body handles natural sugars without any fear - so long as you keep your fat intake at 10% (or 15% for women)...

It may cost a little more than the 'other books' but it was worth every dime to me.

This young man(!) is responsible for me taking action to better my own health. It's a good book - sheds a lot of light on "what not to eat" and "why".
