Robots, Robots Everywhere is a wonderful book with fun illustrations and rhyming text that allow even the youngest readers to get excited about robots, where they are, and what they do! The book is engaging for all readers. The artwork is bold and colorful, which makes the book a great read, and engaging for young children. This is exemplary science fiction book for children, because it is real, discussing real robots, and although they all may not be accessible to the child can learn about thes ...more

Though the rhyming story tells of real functions robots perform, the illustrations are pure fantasy and the true stars of this show.

I would gladly serve any of these cuties should they chose to become our overlords.

This is a comprehensive rhyming list of modern robots. The illustrations make it seem a little far fetched and sci-fi ish with the cartoony idea of robots but if you read just the rhymes it does make you realise how many robots we take for granted in our day to day lives. My son got quite a kick from pointing out different elements in the illustrations too.

And then there is the illustration. The text may be simple and straightforward, but the artwork is not. Manic would be a fair description, but manic in a good way. Manic as

For a kid who likes friendly looking cartoony robots this can't be beat. My son likes rhyming books and this one has a nice, happy rhyme to it.

Illustrations are fun, sort of retro, but they don't make up for the text.

Sue Fliess and Bob Staake make a great team in Robot, Robots Everywhere. Was a bestseller in September at the fairs and I expect it to continue to win the hearts of young and old!
