Kathleen Dixon
I really enjoy this book with its visual text, but it's not easy to read to pre-schoolers. They don't understand what the words are doing and so they just don't get why I'm moving my finger down the page on the word 'bottomless' or what I'm doing to try and illustrate the word 'enormous', and so on. However, I comfort myself with the thought that my gesticulations might appear purposeless right now but they're laying some groundwork.

Aside from the visuals, I don't really like the book that much.
