Prepare to be treated to a fast paced thrilling story, you'll be baffled and so engrossed you'll keep on guessing who'd done it yet you'll never guess it right. I meant to just read about 30% of this as it was already late when I started, also in desperate need to grab some much needed sleep ( been up till wee hours reading for the last 3 night

First in the Slater Vance mystery series set in Charleston, SC and Vance is a private investigator with a brother who is a priest. His brother asks him to help a woman who was in a car accident and has loss her memory. Vance is reluctant and as he investigates, the case becomes more and more complicated threatening him, the woman and his brother.
