Students will love working with this book to do experiments. I would however read this book myself and not use it as a read aloud because some of the directions would best be shown by the teacher. Students could be prompted an inquiry type question to think about and then given the materials to do the experiment. I would use this in higher elementary grade levels so 3rd to 5th.
