I read this book while preparing for a mission trip in Central America. It was my early 20s and the first book that really challenged me to put hands and feet to my faith in Jesus. It was the "Radical" of its day.

Starts strong, but then does not open up any significant new insights. An ok summary of many other great ideas, but uses a few too many stories and quotes from others to keep the flow smooth. Short chapters, yet sometimes still not much content. Best for a young Christian/Youth Worker that has not already learned these ideas. Otherwise good for a quick skimming to remind you and reinvigorate you to ideas you have forgotten over time.

This book was instrumental for my development in high school. I mostly remember the quotes that perforated each chapter...some of them more poignant than the copy.

One of my favorite chapters intros the subject of how often the New Testament used the phrase "Let" in relation to us letting God do in us all that He desires.

This was suprisingly not a bad read. It was sort of a Christian self help book of sorts. Some of the main points of this book were choosing joy, reaching our peak level of performance, being a servant leader, etc.
