Tengok cover pun dah spoiler. Huhu. Though aku dah agak ending cerita ni, tapi it was a good story actually. Cuma jalan cerita tak laju.

Sinopsis:
Jerry loved to play tricks. So parents dia hardly believe his stories. Though sometimes he told them the truth. Jerry baru pindah at a new house yang ada attic. Dalam attic tu ada satu piano yang masih cantik dan boleh dipakai. Weird things happened bila tiba waktu malam. Jerry mula dengar lagu yang sangat sedih dari atas bilik dia - which was in the at...more

When I was a pre-teen and started reading Goosebumps I enjoyed them very much. I started reading the books featured on the Tv Show, and then I got to read this one. Well, it is amazing and made me really love R. L. Stine and truly appreciate him as a writer.

This book has it all, a haunted house, a ghost, a piano who plays by itself, a strange music school, a mad cientist and lots of terror. In truth, this is the best book I ever read in the goosebump series.

I usually am very critical about Goos...more

This was one of the earliest Goosebumps novel I had read and the very first around I was very impressed. It was like as if if you mix the steampunk culture with some surrealism. I would probably rank it in the Top 5.

The ending is very Fight Club-type and it really grabs you by the throat. But, unlike his other books, this one is only better the first time around. Second time onwards, it just gets longer and you may even stop halfway and start off on another book. On further note, I think a new...more

What's not to love about a Goosebumps book about a crazy piano teacher who replaces kids' hands with robot hands so they never make mistakes? I keep this on my studio bookshelf just for fun. Oops...guess that was a spoiler, huh? Sorry I spoiled it for all of you planning to run out and read it.

This is more of an overall review of the series, really. When I was a kid, I used to devour these books, but sadly I'd recently somehow managed to forget all about them. I was reminded, however, when I rediscovered this awesome blog: http://www.bloggerbeware.com. These books are a mixture of varying degrees of terrible and amazing - at the same time. I honestly find it really hard to rate them, seeing as they're such a major part of my reading foundation. 11 year-old me would probably have given...more

I took piano lessons when I was a kid so I can relate to this story. Except I didn't have a piano nor did I have "good hands." My hands are so terrible even mosquitoes wont go near them! I'm not really sure what to think of this book. I enjoyed the final few chapters. As in all Goosebumps books, the action picks up right around chapter 20. Love thee twist near the end. The book was interesting, it wasn't boring. It quickly jumps into the Sci-fi stuff, which makes the book more interesting and gi...more

Another Goosebumps book. There's a creepy school, a mysterious inventor and a ghost who's not all she seems. Exciting stuff for the younger reader.

Another pretty good Goosebumps book.
Jerry keeps hearing things playing the piano in his new house so he decides to get piano lessons when his dad thinks he might actually be good. He goes over to have lessons with the esteemed Mr. Screech, but soon hears that he will eat his students, devouring fingers.
It's pretty good, but yet another kinda cheesy Goosebumps book. I think some of the names in Goosebumps like Mr. Screech are pretty weird, but still a good book for both you and your kids, especia...more

This book is about a boy named Jerry, who moves into a new house and he finds a brand new piano in the attic. He shows his dad and his dad offers to pay for piano lessons. Jerry enjoys the thought until he meets his instructor,Dr. Shreek.Dr. Shreek is really weird to Jerry his of all, he kept staring at his hands and saying how wonderful and excellent his hands are. When Jerry gets too creeped out he tells his mom he wants to quit but Dr. Shreek wont let him.

Ahhh, the Goosebump days. I would borrow so many of these from the library they seriously considered extending my limit of books checked out at one time. R.L. Stine you were a reprieve from a harsh and dreary childhood in which my mind wandered far away from the troubles of the day. I stole books into my bed and read far into the night by the faintest of lights. I might have better eyesight were it not for you; however, I regret not one page or line.

Actual rating: 3.5 stars. The whole story flowed very naturally. I like that the topic is different and is something that many kids deal with. It makes it more scary! The only problem I had with the story were (view spoiler)[the hands. Mr. Toggle is a genius with machines, but the book doesn't talk about how he keeps real hands alive and playing. (hide spoiler)].

I was hooked on these series as a kid. I remember when this first book came out and all the hype surrounding it, and quickly joined in on scarfing these things down. They were fun at the time, although even in grade school they had me rolling my eyes at some of the goofiness (and the cliffhanger chapter endings! Every chapter, without fail!).
R. J. Spindle
I'm a bit more interested in this story than I was the last one. Jerome is a jokester, and I laughed out loud when he jumped out at his father in the kitchen. Of course, his parents aren't going to believe him about the piano playing by itself, because he is such a prankster.

R.L Stine you did a good job on keeping me guessing in the book.I started reading your books in third grade but I never finished it. So I gave it another chance by reading it again and i just finished it. And once again you you did a good job.

Robots! Ghosts! Disembodied hands! Such is the world of Stine. Not the series' best offering, but certainly one of the strangest earlier offerings, the ending does come as a surprise and the unintentional comedy is there in spades.

this was a pretty neat book for me and i kinda liked it because i love playing piano and i love horor so at the same time i got horor and thrill at the same time.
Alysha DeShaé
So I didn't actually expect all of the robots, but now I'm wondering how close we are to machines that can let you play piano with just the focus of your eyes.
Alex Williams

Goosebumps was so popular when I was a kid, we would get in fights in the library over who got to check the new one out next. No joke.

I love this book the most of all of R.L. Stines books.
It is also the name of a great song by a newly formed band.
Brittany Perry
Shocked, but honestly I thought the book was a little too descripted and didn't have enough stuffing and too much fluffing.
