This book claims to have been edited by Patrick Nielsen Hayden. This is a lie. He couldn't edit an elementary school newsletter. To call what he did here "editing" is an insult to editors the world over. It's more like he got his friends together and had everyone shit on a plate. But then again, there's a good chance a similar pile of shit will become President, so maybe they have a point.

A collection of very nice short stories. Although from about 15 years ago, which is too bad since I've already read the best short story - Mrs. Mabb by Suzanna Clarke. Another strong story is "Death of the Duke".
