was gifted a copy of No Wasted Tears by Sylvia D. Carter, and I could not believe this was a novel by a first-time author. Sylvia is a very detailed authors who paints a picture with her words so you can see and feel everything. Destiny Harper is in an abusive relationship with Stanley Womack. In the beginning of this book, you feel Destiny's pain, her fears, and you can see what her abusive husband Stanley has done to her. You will find yourself shouting, "Run Destiny! Get out! Hurry up!"
