I flew right through this installment of Dragonpocalypse! I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen to our new friends. It ended up being exactly what you'd expect in the times we live in now. That was a good thing though! No absurd stuff that makes you say 'Really??'. Very pleased with the way the story is progressing! Can't wait for the next part!
I have to steal from other reviewers here. MOTHER FUCKING SPACE DRAGONS!!! That's really all you need to know. I've missed the excitement of "Choose Your Own Adventure" stories and this is just how I wanted it to be. I'm thoroughly enjoying it and can't wait for the next part. I missed out on the first vote for part 2, but that won't stop me! It's that good, folks. That. Good.
I read most of this while a man was screaming and ranting around my neighborhood, which actually added to the book, as our characters are in a pretty desperate situation that will probably only get worse. Didn't get a chance to read this before the closing date to vote on the next installment, but I'm very curious as to what is going to happen in this new living situation.
I think I must be doing it wrong. This story is called "Dragonpocalypse" and I enjoyed the second instalment—which does not have any in-scene dragons—more than the first. I think it's because seeing the characters act and react to the dragon situation without having the descriptions of the dragons drawing attention away is making me get into the people, not just the action.
Choose your own dragons! Not to ride because they're too busy extinguishing mankind, but you can vote on what the humans do next, and who doesn't like playing God? You know who doesn't like playing God? Illiterates. And you if you choose not to read this awesome series.
